We offer a flexible schedule and 15 hours per week during the academic year with the option for full-time during school vacations. Breaks are provided during exam periods. Start date is immediate and the end date is April 26, 2024. There are no employee benefits associated with this position.

We are a small financial planning and investment advisory firm based in Newton, MA. You will be working directly with the two principals who have more than 25 years' experience in the financial industry. Your primary responsibilities will be providing administrative support for the data input activities associated with creating financial plans, investment accounts and our client relationship management (CRM) system.
As part of our team, you will be exposed to all aspects of our financial planning business, including the entry of financial data into state-of-the-art planning software. You will also be responsible for several financial data projects, including reorganization of our cloud-based client recordkeeping system.
Investment research – You will conduct research using our software tools and other publicly available information to evaluate and propose changes to various investment models used by the firm.
You will attend weekly staff meetings and, when appropriate, you will attend client meetings and presentations. Other responsibilities may be added depending on applicant skills and firm needs.
You will be working directly with the two managing partners, another adviser as well as both staff members and another intern. We are a small firm so you’ll get hands on exposure to many different aspects of our business.
Required: You must abide by and sign our Confidentiality Agreement, Compliance Manual, and Code of Ethics. Per securities regulations, you must disclose on a quarterly basis your personal investment holdings and transactions to the Chief Compliance Officer.
