Job Summary
The Financial Advisor has the responsibility for managing existing client relationships, either with guidance from more experienced senior financial advisors or on their own. The position will be responsible for formulating and implementing advice and will rely on team members and strategic partners for help on developing recommendations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Build long term client relationships through proactive and timely communication and a “client first” attitude.
Gains understanding of clients’ goals, time horizons, tolerance for market volatility, and anything of importance to their future.
Prepares, holds, and executes on follow up items for all client meetings. Assigns tasks to other team members on follow up items from client meetings.
Helps produce, presents, and reviews/updates financial plans designed to help clients achieve their goals.
Gain understanding of RiverFront Group investment philosophy and attend teams’ quarterly investment updates.
Qualifications
Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and life/health insurance license required.
Bachelor's degree required.
Financial industry experience helpful.
Highly proficient in MS Office; experience with any financial industry software a plus.
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills (integrity, humility, respect, empathy, and a healthy sense of humor).
Ability to work independently but also be a proactive contributing team member.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on projects effectively.
