The Financial Planning Education Consultant is the main resource for our internal and external financial planning education programs, as well as financial planning content development and maintenance. The Financial Planning Group (FPG) Education Consultant contributes to content creation, standardization and consolidation across all content and learning platforms for internal employees and external users of eMoney. Utilizing eMoney platform and planning tools knowledge, as well as financial planning industry knowledge, the Education Consultant will collaborate with FPG and other internal key business partners to maintain and enhance the quality and execution of our learning programs, such as our employee learning management system, our employee financial planning workshops and education program, our Continuing Education program for current financial professionals, our University Program for next generation financial professionals, and other areas where financial education content and learning programs are applicable. This is a key role in our company’s mission to deliver on financial wellness solutions internally and externally.
Aid in the development financial education programs internally and externally
Maintain updates, quality, consistency, and standardization of financial planning materials across various internal and external content and training platforms?
Assist in determining learning strategies for internal hires across organizations for financial planning knowledge? and collaborate with People Experience for overall learning and development guidance
Maintain and execute Continuing Education program? logistics coordination, content, reporting, and communication with industry partners
Assist with Continuing Education current and future strategy
Continuously collaborate with Marketing and other business partners on Continuing Education marketing and positioning
Assist with Internal Training, Learning and Development strategy
Assist with Content, Marketing, Community Initiatives (Financial Literacy, University Program) Strategy
Maintain and execute University Program and Certification Program, along with industry externships and similar next generation planner programs, and collaborate with Training team for Certification program for users?
Assist with mapping out long-term financial planning training plans for internal teams and continuously gather feedback for training plan enhancements from department leads and managers
Actively participate in internal learning steering committees to align on initiatives and best practices with key business partners
Aid in internal and external Financial Literacy initiatives as a key contributor, developing content and learning programs
Produce and write financial planning content, white papers, blogs, podcast, and other media support for demand lead generation? and thought leadership
Contribute to industry partnerships and involvement? along with Marketing
Prepare educational material (e.g. design manuals and create content or collaborate with eLearning Training team to create new content)
Aid in selection of educational methods, like on-the-job coaching, conferences, workshops, and e-learning courses
Remain current on industry learning and development tools, techniques, strategies, and practices in order to provide relevant informed consultative advice to clients.
Remain up to date on feature updates within the eMoney platform to determine updates to existing content or creation of new content
Continuously review workflows and processes to identify areas for improvements
Maintain strong business acumen and ongoing awareness of business initiatives
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
Maintain active project boards and workstreams to keep on track with deadlines
Undergraduate degree in Financial Planning, Communications, Education, or relevant area of study, or equivalent combination of training and financial planning client facing or support experience.
Learning and development certifications preferred
Experience with developing financial planning learning programs in the financial literacy, financial counseling space, employer space, university space, etc.
CFP® designation, or equivalent financial planning or financial services experience strongly preferred
Minimum of 4-5 years of general business experience, preferably experience in a client-facing or support role, financial planning support role, or corporate training role;
Teaching experience in some capacity preferred
Solid knowledge of eMoney application or ability to learn quickly to produce content and education
Strong knowledge of eMoney Advisor platform, especially financial planning functionality, or ability to learn quickly
Knowledge of other financial planning software preferred
Strong knowledge financial services industry and ability to keep up to date on trends
Salesforce CRM and Knowledge
Learning Management System and Authoring tools experience, preferably SumTotal and Articulate Rise
Experience with Survey software or methods for gathering learner feedback
Strong attention to details, quality, and deadlines
Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to present to audiences
Excellent project management skills, including planning and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives independently
Proven teamwork capabilities; strong relationship management and interpersonal skills

Experience in the design of learning and development policies, programs and processes.
